Who are ALD ?

ALD Industry Ltd is a company registered in the United Kingdom.

The company is unique because the directors and shareholders have an extensive working knowledge of display material recycling as well as the industries themselves.

From January 1st 2008 Michael Turner will be taking the helm at Ald Industry. Michael was until December 31st 2007 the Director of The Digital and Screen Printing Association. This position has brought Michael into daily contact with the printers who produce Display material. He understands the industry problems and in his position routinely negotiated and advised Government departments, employers, federations and unions. He has been responsible for health and safety policy for member companies and has been heavily involved in environmental policy decisions. Michael will be continuing to assist the Advertising, Display, Point of Sale and Printing industries in formulating environmental policy and enable companies to satisfy their customer’s increasing green requirements.

Steve Weston BSC, MSC, ENG DIP. Steve has joined the company as Technical Director. Steve's first job was in the paper manufacturing industry. Steve has worked in and around the display industries for all of his working life. Latterly he has been working closely with Universities and Government bodies on the issues surrounding recycling of plastics and polymers. He has been the architect of several detailed papers on these subjects. Steve's important role is to look for increasingly environmentally friendly products from which used Display materials can be made and to give technical advice on materials used in the Display industry.
